To save costs now it can be interesting to keep using your existing POS terminal hardware, PC & printers. Please keep in mind that when a PC has been used for a long period, operating system very likely is aged or RAM memory needs to be updated soon. Windows XP really cannot be used anymore in a professional setting as Microsoft is not supporting this anymore. We advise Windows POS Ready 7 as alternative operating system as this version is specialised for POS terminal PC support. Costs of repair or PC upgrade mostly are not justifiable compared to purchasing a new PC, whether or not at Connect24-7. Splendid Connect24-7 hardware support and service are offered to customers who buy hardware at Connect24-7.

Conditions of installing POS system software at your own PC:

• Concerned PC should comply to the specifications mentioned above and be in good shape in order to be a good investment for you
• One-time installation cost including possible labour & transport costs of Eur 399 are charged – max. 2 hours of work. In case installation takes more than 2 hours, locally it is decided whether additional work is worthwhile or Connect24-7 offers quality PCs for competitive prices
• Applying for guarantee and service of concerned DIY hardware should be requested at concerned supplier of hardware or your local PC specialist
